Human eye detection is the hotspot in the field of computer vision and pattern recognition and it has broad application prospects. This paper comprehensively surveys the relative technologies of eyes detection and orientation, and compares the advantages and disadvantages of each method. It proposes the difficulties of eyes detection and the solutions of them. Finally, it looks forward to development trend of the eyes detection technologies.
