中文摘要: 针对软件定义网络(software-defined networking, SDN)用户身份认证过程中存在验证开销较大、身份粒度较粗的问题, 提出基于属性标识的数据面认证方法. 根据用户属性信息, 改进Schnorr算法为用户生成属性标识, 添加到其数据包中, 利用P4可编程交换机解析数据包, 验证属性标识, 从而进行用户身份认证. 认证通过后, 控制器根据用户属性匹配专属访问策略, 下发交换机执行. 通过数据面的属性认证, 降低控制器负载, 实现SDN用户的快速身份认证和细粒度访问管理. 实验结果表明, 该方法的网络时延和通信开销优于现有同类型方法.
Abstract:To address the challenges of high verification overhead and coarse-grained identity management in software-defined networking (SDN) user authentication, an authentication method for data plane based on attribute identification is proposed. User attribute information is utilized to generate attribute identifiers through an improved Schnorr algorithm, which are then embedded into user data packets. P4-programmable switches are employed to parse these packets and validate the attribute identifiers, thereby achieving user authentication. After successful authentication, the controller matches user attributes with specific access policies and deploys these policies to the switches for enforcement. By performing attribute-based authentication in the data plane, the controller’s workload is reduced, enabling rapid user authentication and fine-grained access control in SDN. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves lower network latency and communication overhead compared to existing approaches.
