中文摘要: 径流量预测能够为水资源的合理分配提供科学依据, 基于历史水文大数据可以实现径流量的预测. 为了有效利用降雨量、温度等时间序列数据(外生变量)来进一步提升径流量预测精度, 本文提出了一种基于外生变量和序列式嵌入的Transformer径流量预测模型. 该模型在时间注意阶段引入内生变量序列式嵌入, 利用自注意力机制捕获序列与补丁的时间特征, 增强模型对内生变量时间特征的捕捉能力; 在维度注意阶段区分内生变量、外生变量, 利用交叉注意力机制捕捉外生变量对内生变量的影响模式. 基于渭河流域径流量数据的实验结果表明, 该方法在RMSE、NSE上均优于基准方法, 验证了其在径流量预测任务中的有效性和实用性.

Abstract:Runoff prediction can provide a scientific basis for the rational allocation of water resources. By employing historical hydrological big data as the basis, runoff can be predicted. To effectively utilize time series data such as rainfall and temperature (exogenous variables) to further improve the runoff prediction accuracy, this study proposes a runoff prediction Transformer model based on exogenous variables and sequential embedding. This model introduces endogenous variable sequential embedding in the time attention stage and utilizes the self-attention mechanism to capture the temporal features of sequences and patches, which enhances the model’s ability to capture the temporal features of endogenous variables. Additionally, it distinguishes between endogenous and exogenous variables at the dimension attention stage and employs a cross attention mechanism to capture the influence patterns of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. The experimental results based on the runoff data of the Weihe River Basin show that the proposed approach outperforms the benchmark method in both RMSE and NSE, verifying its effectiveness and practicality in runoff prediction tasks.
